Unique, easy-to-integrate subsystems for aligning fibers and optical components

Piezo scanners take care of fast, continuous scanning tasks, where durability, dynamics, and precision matter. The larger travel ranges are realized with XYZ combinations or 6-axis hexapods. The high-performance controllers control all axes using firmware-based routines for simultaneous optimization of several inputs and outputs. Integrated routines make it possible to perform single-axis alignments up to complex, multi-axis fiber array positioning within the shortest possible time. The efficient algorithms for first light detection, area scanning, and gradient search guarantee high industrial throughput with a process time of up to < 0.6 seconds. The customer is able to optimize his application for the highest throughput in 24/7 operation. The user-friendly PIMikroMove® software allows access to all functions of the controller
